Culture in the monastery – living a varied life

When, in front of Gothic brick architecture, the exhibition turns into a jazz concert and young sopranos share Puccini together with established orchestras, the monastery becomes a place where genres merge into culture. With this series of events, the Brandenburg State Archaeology Museum offers a stage to veteran artists and newcomers. An enthusiastic regular audience and curious first-timers can discover and rediscover the more than 700-year old monastery by way of lectures, art exhibitions, concerts, plays and opera events.
